Short version: this website collects nothing, and the bench keeps your material only as long as the job needs.

This website

No cookies are set. No analytics, fonts, maps or scripts are loaded from anyone else, so no third party learns that you visited. Our server writes ordinary error records but is not configured to log the addresses of the pages you request.

Your recordings

Working copies of your captures live on one bench machine and are deleted within fourteen days of collection. We do not watch more of a tape than the capture requires, and we do not keep stills, clips or "showreel" excerpts unless you have written to us and said we may.

The two exceptions

1. The intake log — format, running time, condition notes, your name and one contact detail — is kept for six years because Latvian accounting rules require the invoice trail behind it.
2. Where a tape was physically damaged, we keep the condition photographs for the same period, in case the extent of the damage is later disputed.

Requests

Write to bench@my-video-archive-hd.download to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have the non-accounting parts deleted early. We answer within a month, usually the same week.
